59 Cadillac Floor Questions
« on: February 01, 2016, 03:14:15 PM »
Does anyone know the measurments of the floor supports that atattch to the bottom of the floors, which bolt to the arms on the frame and extend out to the inner rockers? I have all the flooring sections except for the sections that have these supports.

I'm glad to be back!

Here is an image of what I'm reffering to...

These are the floor braces, the front set goes over the transmission and runs to the rocker panels. The mid-front set run from the arm of the frame to the rocker panels, and there are one or two sets under the back flooring section between the partition and the end of the rear seating section. I was also wondering if there were any seat braces. I know some vehicles of this era use them, just not sure about ours though.

Awesome, that is exactly what I was needing to see. Thank you so much, Martin! I think I can make some, much line Ricky did. I hear the front floors are pretty much the same in all of GM's vehicles that year. With some modification I might be to find a solution for replacing all of the floors for our cars!
